After my endorsement of Ron Paul for President of the United States, I need to help with the fundraising efforts. Some of that I will do on the Source Code, but most of it will be here on the blog. I just had a nice chat with Jonathan Bydlak, finance director for the campaign. He gave me lots of interesting background and stats on the fundraising. Almost all of this money is spent on advertising, which as you know, is not only how we buy our washing powder in the States, but how we elect presidents. It appears that the New Hampshire primary will be moved up almost a month from the planned January 8th date to December 11th. he definitve date will be announced on November 5th, which coincidentally is the date that a major online fund drive is planned.
If you have been listening to the show for the past few weeks, heard the interview I did with Dr. Ron and agree that his back to the constitution plan is the way forward, then I encourage you to donate to the campaign. This is for US citizens only, and the maximum amount is $2300. if $1 million is raised, it will get the guy noticed. All that takes is 500 people to donate the mximum. I’ve asked and been given a code to track donations, so I’ll have something to talk about

Hey Adam, can you confirm whether or not donations made using your code will actually show up in the counter or not? It seems that sometimes when a code is used it doesn’t tally automatically, but that the campaign has to add it manually later on. Just a thought, we want as much bang for the buck as possible on Nov 5th, immediately discernable momentum will help.
